| The Online Educator Network (OEN) is part of the Professional Development Program of the Music Center. OEN aims to use the Web to help educators bring the arts into the classroom. The goal of this pilot project is to help educators apply concepts and skills gained from Music Center programs to their classroom practice.

- California Department
of Education's Funding for Arts Education
The Visual and Performing Arts program, within the California Department
of Education, compiled this list of funding opportunities that can support
schools as they incorporate the arts in their classrooms.
- The "Power of
Creativity" Community Arts Education Award
Sponsored by Americans for the Arts and Crayola, this initiative honors
and recognizes exemplary arts education partnerships in local communities
across the United States. A total of $50,000 will be awarded to organizations
(up to 10) to enable the enhancement of existing visual arts education
programs.
